Meet Sheba

Status: Under Evaluation

Sex: F    Age: 2 yrs    Ears: Natural

Color: Brindle   Weight: 113 lbs

Sheba is a Great Dane (possibly a mix) and has been in a shelter for 130+ days.  Help us find Sheba a loving foster / foster-to-adopt home!

Like other shelter dogs, our information is more limited but she is described as a couch potato, quiet, playful, friendly to family – shy with visitors, affectionate, lap dog and a bit aloof. She loves to cuddle.

Sheba plays gently, likes stuffed animals and has played with dogs of all sizes.  Sheba needs to go to a home with no children.  Sheba does well with children in the home but struggles with new children coming and going in and out of the home.  New kid energy running in and out of the home  can make her reactive with nips (no bite history reported).

Sheba has lived with cats and dogs and it was reported she did well with both.  We recommend a Great Dane or Giant Breed experienced home given her history of being in and out of a shelter.  An ideal home would be a human who is a confident leader, accustomed to helping rescues with unstable home life, settle into a quiet, consistent, loving home. Sheba is a wonderful girl who will thrive in the right home.  Could you open your heart and home to this shelter pup?
