Scout is a 4-year-old bundle of energy and love, ready to bring laughter and loyalty to his forever family. Surrendered through no fault of his own, this playful pup is on the hunt for an active, loving home.
Scout’s got some serious skills—he’s a trained service dog who knows how to sit, stay, lie down, and even catch! He’s a pro on the leash and loves nothing more than a good run or splash in the water. Stuffed toys? He’s all about them! And while he’s friendly with his family, he’s a bit shy around new people at first—but give him a minute, and he’ll be your new best friend.
This guy is a social butterfly with other dogs, especially smaller ones, and he peacefully coexists with cats and ferrets, too. Scout’s lived with kids aged 7 and up, and while he’s great with them, he might be a bit much for the little ones.
Scout does have a few quirks—like separation anxiety and a fear of thunder and fireworks. But with a loving, patient family, he’s sure to thrive. If you’re looking for a fun, goofy, and seriously awesome dog to join your crew, Scout’s your guy!
