Meet Sam

“Hello?? Is it me you’re looking for??”  Move over Lionel Richie.  It’s most definitely me you’re looking for.

If you’re seeking a handsome, athletic, soulful guy – pick me!!  I’m Sam and looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home.  I am being surrendered due to no fault of my own.  My current family has had unfortunate life changes and they want me to find a loving home that deserves me because let’s face it:   I’m a special boy!

At 2 ½ years old, I have learned so much and can’t wait to show off for you.  I love learning new tricks.  I am a masterful ball player that can rival retrievers with my ball fetching skills.   

I have proven to love all people including children and described as having the “biggest tender heart” with zero aggression. 

I have spent some time working with a trainer and learned no matter how excited I get, I am not supposed to jump up on humans.  I have also worked on my leash and walking skills.

When it comes to other animals, I have lived with big dogs, little dogs, horses, birds, and chickens.  I have even met a cat a time or two and shrugged it off.  With proper introductions, I can prove to be an equal opportunity lover of all creatures.  (Well – it is kinda fun to make chickens run on the other side of the fence)
