Roxxie is a stunning 3- to 4-year-old fawn Great Dane with a heart full of love and a soul that’s yearning for her perfect forever family. Once used for breeding, Roxxie is ready to leave her past behind and embrace a life filled with love, gentle care, and sunshine—her absolute favorite thing! ☀️

About Roxxie

💤 Lazy, Sweet, and Affectionate: Roxxie is a certified couch potato who will happily nap while staying close to her people. She’s a classic Velcro dog, happiest when she can keep you in sight.

🤍 A Gentle Soul: Sensitive and soft-hearted, Roxxie craves a calm environment. She doesn’t respond well to raised voices or stern corrections. Gentle guidance, patience, and love are the keys to her heart.

🚗 Car Ride Enthusiast: Car rides are a special treat for Roxxie, especially if someone helps her into the car (she likes to feel pampered!).

☀️ Sunbather Extraordinaire: There’s nothing Roxxie loves more than lounging in the sun. A yard where she can bask peacefully would be a dream come true for her.

Her Ideal Family

Roxxie would thrive with a family that:

• Has Tweens or Teens: Older kids who understand her sensitivity and respect her boundaries would be perfect.

• Understands the Breed: Experience with Great Danes or other large breeds is ideal to ensure her needs are met.

• Offers a Calm Environment: A peaceful home with minimal yelling or tension will help Roxxie feel safe and loved.

What She’s Working On

• Leash Training: Roxxie pulls a bit but is eager to learn with gentle corrections.

• Potty Training: While she’s mostly house-trained, she still has occasional accidents.

• Confidence Building: Loud noises, sudden movements, and stern voices make Roxxie nervous. She needs a family that will help her build trust and feel secure.

• Dog-Friendly: Roxxie enjoys the company of other large dogs and will occasionally play chase, though she’s more of a relaxer than a runner.

• Toys & Bones: She’s not big on toys yet but loves chewing on bones and might discover the joy of play in her forever home.

• Crate Trained: Roxxie is crate trained but may whine when left alone.
