This handsome 1½-year-old merle Great Dane is looking for a foster (or foster-to-adopt!) home where he can stretch out, play, and thrive. At 153 lbs of pure sweetness, Neo is a little bit couch potato, and a little bit snuggle buddy, with a side of goofy puppy charm. 💙🐾

✨ Neo’s Personality:

  • 🛋️ Lounging Pro – Loves hanging out on the couch or by your side, always wanting to be near his people.

  • 🐶 Big Teddy Bear – Affectionate, gentle, and sometimes forgets just how big he is!

  • 🎾 Playtime Favorite – Loves tug-of-war, squeaky toys, and playing ball (especially if treats are involved).

  • 🚶 Leash Star – Walks beautifully on lead and enjoys daily strolls.

  • 😂 Goofy Quirks – Prefers drinking from the bathtub or sink faucet instead of his water bowl. He’ll patiently wait for you to turn it on!

✨ Training & Manners:

  • ✅ Housetrained & crate trained

  • ✅ Knows his basics: sit, stay, come, lie down, paw

  • 🚫 Still working on counter surfing and trash raiding (hey, he’s a big boy with a big appetite!)

  • 🐕 A bit protective with other dogs—best as an only dog or with a calm, laid-back canine friend

  • 🐾 Peaceful with indoor cats (though he may chase outdoor ones if given the chance)

 Neo is looking for a home with:

  • 🌳 A fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and play

  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Adults or older kids (no small children—he’s just too big and bouncy)

  • 🐕 Either as the only pet or with a calm, easygoing dog sibling

  • 💕 A patient family who will give him love, consistency, and guidance

Neo is a gentle soul who loves to be close to his people—he’s a true shadow dog who follows you from room to room. His foster family will be rewarded with endless snuggles, silly antics, and the love of a giant lap dog who doesn’t realize he’s giant. 💜
