Millie came into Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue as a result of overcrowded shelters.  Like most shelter dogs, we have limited information.  Check back after she settles into her foster home.

What we know about Millie:

Millie is a petite Dane mix, 1 years old.  She was dropped off at the shelter after already having a litter.  The shelter spayed Millie but due to overcrowding, she was at risk of not making it out of the shelter and into a home.  Millie arrived in her foster home on April 20th.  She is very sweet, gentle and friendly.

More about Millie:

  • Spayed Female

  • Mild mannered, sweet, affectionate

  • Appears healthy

  • Mild – Moderate energy

  • Housebroken (unknown)

  • Cats OK (TBD – living with cat in foster home)

  • Advised “good with children”

  • Good with dogs. Shared space at shelter with different dogs and played with different dogs

  • Given young age, she likely needs leash training and basic obedience training

  • Giant Breed or Large Breed Mix experienced home best to help Millie learn “adulting”
