Meet Milan

At just 1.5 years old, Milan is a young pup with the soul of an old gentleman 🐾💛. This handsome black Dane has settled beautifully into his foster home, and his personality is shining through—equal parts snuggle bug, porch watcher, and playful goofball.

✨ Milan’s Best Qualities:

• 🛋️ Professional Cuddler – His favorite place is curled up on the couch or laying in the sun. He loves being close to his humans and is a true Velcro dog.

• 🐶 Playful Pup – He gets the zoomies, loves tug, and enjoys silly chase games with his dog friends. Athletic, goofy, and full of joy!

• 💕 Affectionate Leaner – Milan is a classic Dane leaner and loves pets, attention, and being part of the action. He even smiles when he’s happy.

• 🍖 Snack Enthusiast – Frozen kongs, stuffed bones, jerky treats—he’s a fan! He’s famous for tilting his head and flashing a smile before gently taking his favorite treat (string cheese 🧀).

• 🐾 Good House Manners – Housetrained, trustworthy with free roam, respectful around food, and gentle about sharing toys.

• 🚗 Adventure Buddy – Loves car rides and has quickly learned to hop right in and relax for the trip.

• 🎓 Smart & Trainable – Came knowing “sit” but is picking up new commands quickly. Walks well with a freedom harness and is learning “wait” and “this way.”

• 🐕 Dog Friendly – He enjoys playtime with other dogs and is a wonderful companion.

🌳 Favorite Pastimes:

• Watching squirrels and people from the porch like a neighborhood security guard 🕵️‍♂️🐿️

• Sunbathing on the outdoor couch or trampoline ☀️

• Snuggling up for pets and belly rubs 🥰

• Exploring walks at his own pace—he loves to stop and sniff everything!

Milan would thrive in a home where love and companionship are in abundance. He’d do well with another friendly dog but would also be happy as the center of attention. He enjoys car rides, daycare, and being with his people, so a family that includes him in daily life would be a dream come true. His foster mom suspects he’d do well with kids and could even learn to live peacefully with cats with proper introductions.
