I am very sad to inform everyone that foster Dane Sarge crossed the rainbow bridge in the arms of his loving foster mom last night.Sarge came to us in July 2020 and in August he was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. Sarge was put on medications to help manage the condition. He had many vet visits and a few emergency visits during his time in rescue. As the days went on, Sarge struggled more and more. Last night, he was again taken to emergency and an ultrasound found that his heart and surrounding area was full of fluid. The vet recommended euthanasia. He crossed the bridge in his foster mom’s arms. Our hearts go out to her and her family at this difficult time. We send our gratitude for their dedication in giving Sarge everything he needed during his time in rescue.
