Hi foster families! My name is Hugo and I am Great Dane mix. I’ve been told I am a Great Dane mix of Lab and Mastiff which makes me 100% good looking!
My current family is going through life changes which means I need to find a new home. I am a very loving guy who wants desperately to be your lap dog. But I must confess — I have my struggles. I can be prone to fear, anxiety and reactivity. I have lived with children and another dog and have enjoyed playing with smaller dogs but until I work through some of my behavior issues, I need to take things slow.
I would do best in a quiet, Great Dane or Giant Breed experienced foster home. No small children, dogs, or cats while I become more comfortable and confident with my strong human leader.
I’m ready to go where you go. Will you give me a chance and help me become the confident, handsome Dane I know I can be? (I already have the “handsome” part down – I just need more confidence)
