💕 Sammie – Sensitive, Fearful, and Looking for Her Person 💕

Sammie is a 4-year-old brindle Great Dane who needs more than just a home—she needs an experienced, committed adopter who will continue her training and help her feel safe. 

🧠 Her Challenges
Sammie is a sensitive, fearful girl. Loud noises, sudden movements, strangers, and other animals overwhelm her, and she reacts out of fear. She’s not suited for busy homes, dog parks, or crowded spaces. She also needs a secure, fenced yard—this girl is a runner when she’s scared.

Because of this, Sammie must have:
✨ An experienced owner (fearful Dane experience strongly preferred)
✨ A quiet, calm household with no kids or other pets
✨ Someone home more than away to provide companionship and structure
✨ A commitment to ongoing training and rehabilitation with a professional

💞 The Sweet Side
While Sammie has challenges, she also has so much love to give. She’s a classic Velcro Dane—leaning, pawing, cuddling, and following her humans everywhere. If you sit, she’s in your lap. If you move, she’s on your heels. She craves closeness and thrives on gentle affection.

🎾 Her Playful Spirit
Sammie is not your average couch potato Dane—she has energy to spare. She loves fetch, tug, and proudly prancing with her toys. Zoomies are her specialty, which is why that fenced yard is a must.

✅ What She Knows
She’s a smart girl who’s learned sit, down, stay, and even “please” (she’ll politely offer her paw 🥺). She’s crate trained, not destructive when left alone, and does best walking with a Gentle Leader. 

🐾 Why Sammie’s Worth It
Sammie isn’t for everyone. She won’t be your coffee shop dog or dog-park regular. But for the right person—patient, experienced, and committed—she’ll be the most loyal, silly, and snuggly companion you could ask for.

Sammie doesn’t just need an adopter—she needs a partner. Someone who will laugh at her goofiness, guide her through her fears, and love her for who she is. 💖

• Basic Obedience Training complete – knows sit, come, down, heel

• Fearful of Strangers, Loud Noises and Sudden Movements – needs someone committed to training and socialization

• Leash reactive with dogs and people 

• Moderate energy

• Fenced yard – required! She’s a runner!
