From ashes to affection—Phoenix is living proof that love, patience, and second chances can ignite a brand new beginning. 💛

Once abandoned, underweight, and likely used for breeding, Phoenix was found as a stray and taken in by a kind-hearted family. Her body showed signs of neglect. Her spirit, though shaken, was unbroken. Today, she’s rising—stronger, sweeter, and sillier by the day—and ready to find the forever family she truly deserves.

🧡 Her Heart

Phoenix is affectionate, eager to please, and deeply food-motivated (bedtime snacks are her love language 🍗). She’s playful and talkative, with a soft spot for stuffies and a joyful love of running. While she’s still learning to play with other dogs, she’s already found a bestie in the house cat and plays gently—with no teeth or claws.

She’s a classic Velcro Dane, leaning into love with every pawstep. Whether she’s chasing snowflakes across an open yard or curled up beside you on the couch, she simply wants to belong.

✨ Her Progress

Phoenix is crate trained, house trained, and knows “sit,” “shake,” and “come.” She’s working on leash manners (she pulls a bit!), learning not to counter surf, and trying hard to remember not to jump up when she gets excited. She’s not destructive, just curious—and still learning how to “dog.”

She’s great with kids, especially older children and teens who understand her gentle energy. She’s cautious around unfamiliar men at first, but once she knows she’s safe, she blossoms with affection—especially toward the teenage boys in her foster home.

🏡 Her Ideal Home

Phoenix is looking for a calm, confident home where she can continue rising—surrounded by kindness, space to run, and people who understand the heart of a rescue dog. Her perfect match will be:
✔️ Patient and consistent with training
✔️ Able to offer daily affection and positive structure
✔️ Ready for zoomies, cuddles, and the occasional counter check
✔️ Living in a home with space to run, a fenced yard preferred
✔️ Possibly with dog-savvy kids, cats, or calm dogs

Phoenix may not have had the best start—but she’s rewriting her story, one joyful moment at a time. She’s funny, loyal, a little clumsy, and full of love. All she needs now is a place to land for good.
