Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, Inc. has been rescuing Great Danes and Dane mixes since our inception in 2000. We are a volunteer operated 501(c)3 non-profit organization and PACFA licensed with the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Great Danes and Dane mixes in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, Iowa, Missouri and South Dakota. We are able to do this great work with the help of our 200+ volunteers.

Our Rescue is recognized in the community as a valuable educational resource for the Great Dane breed and breed specific behavior issues. Our mission supports the end goal of lowering euthanasia rates in our region through our adoption programs and by providing resources to the community to encourage responsible pet ownership.

Our Rescue would not exist without the tireless commitment of our volunteers to our mission.  Our volunteers come in many forms:
