💖 Meet Kara — Our Golden Girl 💖 At 8 years young, Kara is looking for a soft place to land after the heartbreaking loss of her beloved owner. She’s a cherished alum of Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue and has clearly been very loved. Now, she’s ready to find her next forever home—one filled with snuggles, patience, and lots of Greenies. 💚
About Kara Kara is a true diva—and we absolutely love it! 💅 She has that gentle, regal presence Danes are known for, with just enough sass to keep you smiling. She’s incredibly affectionate and will curl up on top of you like she’s a human (and frankly, we don’t blame her). 🛋️💤
Her Favorites: 🐾 Sniffari walks (she takes her time and investigates every scent—10 blocks might take 30 minutes!) 🐾 Cuddling on the couch with her foster sibling 🐾 Greenies and all the treats 🐾 Meeting new friends—human and canine 🐾 Being told she’s pretty (she already knows)
Training & Manners: ✔️ House-trained ✔️ Calm and well-behaved indoors ✔️ Not reactive on leash ✔️ Happy with her daily routine—morning and evening potty breaks, plus a dog walker 4x a week ✔️ Can be left alone without issue—non-destructive and settles in for a nap
Social Life: Kara has previously lived with dogs, cats, kids, and a variety of family members, and has done great. She enjoys the company of other dogs, though supervised introductions are best due to her size and zest for life. We’ll be confirming her current feelings about cats soon, but she’s always been a friendly and adaptable girl. 🐕🐈⬛👶
The Home Kara Deserves: This sweet soul is simply looking for a loving home where she can continue to be adored and doted on in her golden years. She’s affectionate, curious, and still has a spark in her step. All she needs is a family to match her gentle heart and give her the comfort and companionship she’s known all her life.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a seasoned sweetheart who still has so much love to give—Kara is waiting.
