Meet Apollo

Here at Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue – We have an entire “Apollo” space crew ready to blast off on their own mission!  Although a Great Dane mission may just be jumping on the bed for to take a nice long nap.  That’s OK with us!  Meet Apollo (Fawn)

My name is Apollo and I am being surrendered through no fault of my own.  At 2 ½ years old I have mastered lots of great stuff and the perfect age to find my forever family.  I have been described as quiet, playful, friendly with my family and visitors but can be a little shy at first. I am a big clown, affectionate and will happily be your big, “little lap dog”.

I will happily show off all my learned commands like “sit, wait, here, down.”  I also enjoy playing with big and small dogs and racing around when you let me.  I have also lived with birds.  Cats are fun to chase so maybe no cats for me.  I have lived with children of all ages, too. 

My ideal home: Loving humans who get just how special I am.  I would happily share my home with another dog brother or sister, especially if they want to zoom and play.

• House trained

• Moderate energy

• Good with dogs (male and female, big and small)

• No cats (will chase cats, wildlife)

• Good with respectful children all ages

• Good with people (May be more nervous meeting new men)

• Pulls slightly on leash
