💖 Meet Misty! 💖

At just 2 years old, Misty is a beautiful harlequin Great Dane who’s finally learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family –  and she’s ready to find her forever home.

Misty has truly blossomed in her foster home. Once unsure and guarded, she now greets life with confidence and a happy, affectionate heart. She’s a classic Velcro Dane who bonds deeply with her humans – it takes her about 30 seconds to warm up to new people, and then she’s leaning in for love. Misty adores attention, cuddles, and snoozing nearby while you work or relax.

✨ Personality & Home Life
 Misty is gentle, quiet, and wonderfully sweet. She’s been around kids and adults alike and does beautifully once she understands the rules. She’s housetrained, trustworthy with free roam, and has impeccable manners – no counter surfing or food stealing anymore! She’s also a quick learner and already knows sit, stay, and come.

Misty gets along with other dogs, though she prefers calm canine companions or being the only dog in the home. She’s now the submissive one in her foster pack and handles interactions gracefully. Cats are unknown.

🛏 Daily Life & Routine
 Misty loves to nap the day away at your side, enjoys a calm household, and thrives with structure and reassurance. She’s sensitive to thunderstorms, so she’ll need a patient home that can help her feel secure when the weather gets scary.

🚗 Other Notes
 Misty travels best when secured, as she prefers to be right next to her people (even if that means trying to climb up front to “help” drive!).

🏡 Ideal Home
 Misty’s perfect home is one where someone is home often –  she truly loves company and doesn’t enjoy being confined. A work-from-home family or someone with lots of time to spend with her would be ideal. She’d also do best in a home with a fenced yard and plenty of soft places to nap.

Misty has healed well from her previous injuries and is ready to start her next chapter surrounded by love, patience, and plenty of couch-side snuggles.
