Meet Harley Brindle

Special Needs: Giant Breed Experience Required
Harley is a 4-year-old brindle Great Dane that is looking for a new home due to no fault of her own. Surrendered to a shelter, her past remains somewhat of a mystery, but what we do know is that she’s a sweet, quiet girl looking for a patient and loving forever home.
Currently in a Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue foster home, Harley is adjusting to life outside the shelter. She previously lived with five other dogs and got along well, enjoying playtime, mealtimes, and naps together. She has also lived with a 6-year-old child, showing a gentle nature while allowing petting and interaction—though her size sometimes leads to accidental knockdowns.
Harley can be shy and reserved when meeting new people and may take time to warm up. In unfamiliar environments, she tends to be fearful and cautious, keeping her tail tucked and staying close to her handler. She’s not particularly playful but enjoys being a couch potato and relaxing in a calm setting.
This sweet girl is quiet and well-mannered, though she needs a home that will help her build confidence. She walks well on a regular collar and leash but would thrive in a patient home willing to help her come out of her shell.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who just needs a little time and love to feel safe, Harley could be the perfect addition to your family. Are you the one to give her the second chance she deserves?
