Her Personality

Lola is the perfect mix of quiet and playful. Around her family, she’s a loving, gentle giant who adores curling up on the couch or relaxing in the office while you work. She’s patient, kind, and an absolute joy in the home. When it’s playtime, she loves chasing a ball or wrestling with her favorite stuffed toys—her inner puppy shines through!

Lola can be shy around visitors at first, but with a little time and a proper introduction, she warms up quickly. Once she feels comfortable, she’s all about snuggles and will happily lean in for pets and affection.

Lola would thrive in a quiet household with experienced dog owners who understand the unique needs of a large, strong dog. Here’s what she’s looking for:

• Adults-Only Household or Older Dane Experienced Children: Lola prefers the company of adults or older children who can provide a calm environment, consistent leadership and understand what she needs to feel secure. 

• A secure yard: She’ll thrive with a backyard for lounging and playing, ideally one with a solid, non-transparent fence to limit visual stimulation.

• An active lifestyle: Lola’s mild energy makes her a great jogging buddy or walking companion. She loves adventures in open spaces and has shown she’s curious and eager to explore without being overly reactive.

• Patience and structure: Lola craves attention, structure, and a strong leader. With proper guidance, she’s highly trainable and eager to please.

Her Training and Behavior

Lola has completed obedience training and knows commands like “sit,” “come,” and “lie down.”  She can be reactive on a leash and barks to alert when she sees people or dogs outside the window. She’ll benefit from ongoing training with someone who can help her channel her excitement and curiosity in positive ways.With the right leadership and patience, Lola will continue to improve and learn.
