My name is Zeus and I was surrendered due to no fault of my own. I was living outside in rough conditions. The most amazing Foster Family showed up one day and brought me home. I finally had a warm bed to lay my sweet head. Now that I’ve had a chance to rest a bit, I am ready to find my forever family!
I have been described as “such a loving, playful pup.” I live to play fetch, romp around the backyard and play tug-of-war with other Danes! I can be shy with new people but once I warm up to them, I am super friendly.
I have also shown my Foster Family just how smart I am! I am housebroken, do well in a crate when left alone and I know words like “sit” “down” “come” “stay” “off”. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to show off my toys to you. As soon as you come in the door, I will grab one of my toys and prancy proudly around the house with a toy. Yes, I am THAT adorably cute!
I am currently living with 7 and 11 year old little humans and I really enjoy being around them! I don’t jump on them and I know to be patient and gentle. I have been living with a bunch of Great Danes in my foster home and have enjoyed having pals. I have not been around cats.
I have also worked on walking on a leash for the first time and my Foster Family says I am a real good boy and fast learner! Phew! I’m trying hard to become a fancy Dane of the ‘burbs’ with my new leash walkin’ skills.
