Meet Danny

As summer winds down and cozy season rolls in, Danny is ready to trade sunny naps for couch snuggles, neighborhood walks through the falling leaves, and evenings spent hanging out with his favorite people. Danny is a handsome 7-year-old blue merle Great Dane weighing in at approximately 140 pounds. He's spent nearly his entire life with one family and is now searching for a new forever home where he can be the cherished companion he was born to be. This sweet boy is equal parts gentleman, comedian, and professional snuggle expert. His family describes him as affectionate, playful, talkative, and "more like a person" than a dog. Danny loves being part of whatever is happening and is happiest when he's spending time with his humans. He's trustworthy when left alone and knows exactly how to be a wonderful family companion. One thing Danny would love to add to his next chapter? A dog friend! He has a fantastic history living with other dogs and has shared his home with both large and small canine companions. They played together, relaxed together, and enjoyed each other's company. A friendly resident dog could be a wonderful bonus for this social guy. Danny is a mature Dane with moderate energy. He enjoys playtime and walks but also appreciates the finer things in life - like soft beds, cozy couches, and quality time with his people. In other words, he's perfectly prepared for the season of football games, pumpkin spice, and afternoon naps. 🍂 Because of his giant size and limited experience with young children, Danny would likely do best with older kids.
