“Mama’s don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys,” says the late, great country artist, Waylon [Jennings].  “Instead — I say just let your babies grow up to be big, happy, lazy Danes!”  Meet Waylon:

Greetings Dane lovin’ families — My name is Waylon and I have the perfect name for me ‘cause I have a whole lot of rough and tumblin’ things to say but deep down I’m just one big teddy bear.  Yes, I am a talkative Dane!

I am being surrendered due to no fault of my own.  My current family has young children with busy schedules and feel I deserve a home where I can be the center of someone’s world.  I have grown up with small children and do great with the kiddos and people generally.  I love people so much I get anxious when my person leave me. I can be shy with strangers.  I have also lived with dogs and cats.  My current family thinks I would do best in a quieter but still physically active home where I can get lots and lots of attention.  Maybe one other animal I can share the glory with — but let me be the star I was meant to be.

I do bond hard with my person and will want to be by his side all the time.  I love car rides and camping and any cowboyin’ adventure you want to take with me!  I have good energy so an active lifestyle human would be ideal.  But I can curl up on the couch with you and be the happiest, lazy Dan, too!
