Meet Pumpkin

‘Tis the season for some Pumpkin Spice! 

This sweet, petite girl is looking for a Foster home with Great Dane or Giant Breed Experience.  At 1.5 years old, she has not had much structure and needs a strong leader.  She is too big to play with small children and has not learned how to be a member of a consistent dog pack.  A quiet home with no small children is best.  Pumpkin has been described as outgoing, playful and a clown.  She has demonstrated excellent couch potato skills and has mastered the classic Great Dane lean.  She does well with car rides and knows basic commands.

• Large dogs ok with slow, proper introductions

• Crate trained

• Does well on a leash

• Basic commands known; Needs more training and boundaries set by a strong leader

• No young children

• No cats (Has not been cat-tested; Prey drive unknown)

• Needs work on resource guarding food and toys with other dogs
