Maisy is being surrendered to RMGDRI through no fault of her own. Her family’s dynamics have changed and she is in need of a new couch to claim where she can get the attention she deserves. Maisy has lived with children as young as 5 years old, dogs and indoor and outdoor cats.
Maisy turns 3 years old in December which makes her a terrific age to foster or foster-to-adopt. She is past the 24/7 puppy shenanigans but still full of energy and fun. Maisy is described as very active, playful, friendly with visitors, friendly with family and is a big lap dog. She knows basic commands but like most young Great Danes, will need continued good leash training. Maisy can still get into some puppy mischief if left unsupervised outside her crate so crate training is strongly recommended.
Maisy’s age combined with exposure to children, dogs and cats makes her a terrific family addition for new Great Dane and Giant Breed foster family. And if you are an experienced Great Dane and Giant Breed family, you know that Maisy would make a wonderful addition to your family as well.
