Meet Kumo

Kumo is a 1.5-year-old dynamo who combines puppy energy with a love for cozy cuddles. Surrendered due to his previous owner’s medical issues, this affectionate pup is ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of snuggles to his new home.

Kumo is the best of both worlds—he’s super active and loves to play, but he’s also a total couch potato who adores nap time. He’s playful and friendly with everyone he meets, whether it’s family members, visitors, or other dogs. With his goofy, clownish personality, Kumo will keep you entertained with his antics, especially when he’s showing off his tricks for treats. He’s a quick learner and thrives in training classes, already mastering commands like sit, come, lie down, shake, and even “spin”! He’s almost ready for Canine Good Citizen training but could use a little more work on his “stay” command.

When it comes to playtime, Kumo is all about the action. He loves to play ball, chew on his Nylabones, and roughhouse with larger dogs. Though he’s a high-energy pup who loves to sprint around, Kumo also knows how to wind down with some serious cuddle time—he thinks he’s a lap dog and will happily snuggle up with you on the couch. In fact, naps are his favorite indoor hobby!

Kumo is great with kids over 7 years old and has lived peacefully with other dogs and even cats. He loves his walks and, while he might pull a bit when excited, he’s much better with a gentle leader. A home with a fenced yard where he can run and play to his heart’s content would be ideal.
