Sex: Neutered Male    Age:  6 yrs    Ears: Natural

Color: Black  Weight: 110 lbs

Picture this: a crisp morning, the quiet hum of nature around you, and a gentle, loyal companion trotting by your side. That’s Korben—an easygoing 6-year-old with a heart full of love, a taste for the outdoors, and a calm, steady presence that will bring warmth to any home.

Korben’s story is one of quiet affection and simple joys. He’s not the kind of dog who demands constant excitement; instead, he finds happiness in the small things—like laying his head on your lap, sitting close on the couch, or being your shadow around the house. If you’ve got a cozy blanket or a sunny spot for him to lounge in, Korben is all in.

Outside, he transforms into a little explorer. He loves nothing more than a peaceful hike or a walk through the woods, his nose sniffing the air, ready for anything the trail might bring. Korben’s favorite way to start a walk is with a bit of excitement—he’ll zigzag at first, eager to see it all, but soon he settles into a steady pace, glancing up at you with eyes that say, “Let’s do this together.” And don’t worry—he knows the “hold” command, so when it’s time to pause, he’s right there by your side, waiting for the “okay” to go on.

Though he’s gentle and laid-back, Korben does have a playful streak that he brings out with gentle encouragement. And he’s not a picky friend—he’s coexisted peacefully with other dogs, making friends with ease. Around the family, he’s incredibly loyal and sweet, especially with kids. If you’re sitting down, he’ll nestle close, maybe with a paw on your lap, just content to be near.

Korben has his quirks, (I mean, who doesn’t?) —loud noises and brooms are no friends of his. Thunderstorms, fireworks, or a stray broom in sight can make him uneasy, but he’s learning that these sounds aren’t as scary as they seem, especially with a trusted human by his side. And while he’s a master of staying calm, he can’t resist the urge to chase squirrels and bunnies, so a fenced yard is a must!

The perfect foster home for Korben is one that’s calm and full of love. He’d love a patient person or family who enjoys quiet moments, long walks, and snuggles by the fire. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share life’s little adventures with—a dog who brings a sense of peace wherever he goes—Korben would love to be that friend for you.

Are you ready to help Korben write the next chapter of his story? He’s waiting, leash at the ready, for his forever family to walk into his life. 🐾
