🚨 URGENT FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED FOR GROOT! 🚨
Groot is a sweet, goofy, and loving pup who has found himself in a shelter, scared and unsure of his surroundings. His previous owner describes him as 99.5% an absolute delight—calm, affectionate, and just wanting to hang out. However, he had a few tense moments with the other dog in his home, leading to his surrender out of caution. This boy deserves a second chance in a home that understands his needs and is willing to help him thrive!

👂 Possibly deaf—he needs a family willing to work with him on communication and training
🐾 Nervous at first but warms up with patience and love
🐶 Needs a pet-free home or very careful introductions (previous issues with another dog in the home)
❤️ Affectionate, goofy, and loves to just hang out
🩺 Currently being treated for a painful spider bite—he needs a safe place to recover
🏡 What Groot Needs in a Foster or Adopter:
✔️ A calm, patient home that will give him time to decompress
✔️ Someone experienced with deaf dogs or willing to learn (if confirmed deaf)
✔️ No other pets or slow, structured introductions
✔️ A safe, loving environment to recover from his spider bite and build confidence
✔️ Commitment to training to help him feel secure and set him up for success
Groot is a wonderful dog who just needs the right environment to thrive. Due to his shelter stay, there are still some unknowns about Groot, but we will provide updates as we learn more. If you can open your home and heart to him, please reach out ASAP! 💙🐾🏡
