Hi! I’m Athena. I am looking for a home with someone who will love my affectionate side – I like to lean on people and be loved on, but mostly only when I want loving. My foster mom calls me her little weather girl because I know when a storm is coming before the weather guys do. hehe… BUT, I really don’t like storms especially thunder and lightning. I’ve learned it’s better to hide inside the house instead of someplace outside, so I am a little less scared.
I need some work on basic commands, but I do walk well on a leash most of the time. I like to be my own girl and come in and out at my leisure. I LOVE to run around like a crazy girl. The neighbor says I look like I’m barrel racing around the trees. I am usually a bit leary around men, but have warmed up to my foster dad and the neighbor is an ok dude too, maybe because he’s had danes before…
I’ve lived with small kiddos and other dogs in the past, but not cats.
It will be a bit longer before I am fully recovered from my spay, but keep an eye on me just in case I cant convince my fosters that they really need a personal weather girl.
