Kilo has a home with his new forever family Allison, Seth and their 2 daughters. The family were fortunate enough to spend time with Kilo as they lived down the road from his foster family! They fell head over heels for the big fella, so, they filled out their application straight away. Just in time for the holiday, Kilo will get plenty of undivided attention as he will be the families only pet. We couldn't be happier for Kilo and his new family. Way to go sweet boy.
Samson has a home with his new forever family Derrick, Bethanne and their 4 children! This is the families first Dane and they had their eyes on sweet Samson from day one. This sweet boy will never be short of back rubs, ear rubs and legs to lean on with this family. Being the only pet in the home the undivided attention will be huge. Way to go sweet Samson!
Francine has a home with her new family Autumn and Dennis in Denver, CO. They both had their hearts set on Miss Franine before they even applied to foster and adopt. Fate worked it's magic and by the time they went through our adoption process; Francine was still available and waiting for her forever home. Autumn and Dennis just adore this sweet girl and she has blended so well in her new home. She's thriving and couldn't be happier. She is also doing incredibly well with the two cats that live in the home. We couldn't be happier for this sweet girl. Way to go Francine!
Sergeant has a home with their foster family in Erie, CO. Scott and Matthew are new to the breed and were the first to bring in these two sweethearts. Angel and Sergeant nestled their way into their hearts right from the day they came into their home....It didn't take long for Scott and Matthew to make the choice to adopt this duo. Way to go Sergeant.

Horsey has a home with her foster family Jaimie and Devin in Denver, CO. Jaime and Devin are long time dedicated volunteers for RMGDRI. Horsey was the families 63rd foster Dane from RMGDRI !! Needless to say… after that many fosters Horsey was the one who stole Devin’s heart from day one! She came right up and gave him a snuggle and cuddle and pulled at his heartstrings. Both Devin and Jaimie knew from that point Horsey had claimed her stake and wasn’t going to leave their home. Jaimie and Devin have affectionately renamed her “Hera”Way to go sweet girl!
with his new family in Denver, CO. Mike, Brandy and their 4 children anxiously applied to foster & adopt with only Max in mind. The family could not be more extactic that this sweet boy will be able to live out his years with them. Max will have a female Dane named Rogue to hang out with at home while Mike & Brandy work, not to mention being able to go on their vacations with them. The family enjoys time outside for walks and taking their dogs with them on outings on the weekend. Congratulations Max!
Zeus has a home with his new adoptive family in Florissant, MO. John, his wife Holly and their two sons have been anxious to bring another Dane into their home. They lost their beloved Roscoe to Osteosarcoma and miss his jovial, silly and goofy presence in the home. When they saw Zeus on the rescues website they knew straight away that his personality was very similar to Roscoe. The family enjoys including their pets in everything they do. We are very excited for this family and Zeus! They have renamed him Thunder. Way to go sweet boy!
Bronx has a home with his new family in Rifle, CO. Natalie, her spouse and and their 4 sons are elated to see the joys that a Great Dane brings to ones heart and home. Bronx will have to fur friends to share his new home with…a rat terrier and a cat! Fortunately due to to work schedules this lucky boy will rarely ever be home alone. Natalie is looking forward to having Bronx go on her runs with her each day. Way to go sweet boy!
Obi has a home with Libby & Daniel and their daughter in Orem, UT. The family is elated to be able to make Obi a permanent part of their family and home. When Libby saw Obi on our website she knew that there was something special about this sweet boy and they she wanted to pursue his adoption. They’ve done extensive research on Wobblers and are prepared to ensure a comfortable life for Obi. The family enjoy time at home relaxing and also taking leisurely walks in the neighborhood. Sadie has a home in Eureka, MT. Judith and Jerald are a retired family who live a very relaxed life on several acres of land. They have a sweet 8 year old Dane named Bernie....whom both him, Judith and Jerald are all feeling the loss of not having their female dane in the home. She passed at the spry age of 13 this past March. Everyone is looking forward to bringing Sadie home. All of the traits and qualities that Sadie has reminds them so much of their last female Dane. They're looking forward to including this sweet lady on their daily walks and drives into town. Way to go sweet girl!
Wilson has a home with his foster family in North Salt Lake City, UT. Nick and Bridget have been waiting a long while to bring a Great Dane into their home. When the opportunity came up to foster this sweet boy they welcomed him with open arms. It didn't take long to realize that Wilson blended in perfectly in their home and with their family. Nick and Bridget enjoy walks and gentle hikes around their home. Way to go Wilson
Lady has a home with her new adoptive family in Erie, CO. Janette and her husband Scott and their 9 year old cat have been waiting for the right moment to fill the hole in their home that their 14 year old lab mix left when she passed earlier this year. Scott has had Great Danes in the past and they both feel that Great Danes share similar qualities that labs have...sweet in nature and who want nothing more than to be close to their humans. They want to take Lady on long walks in the morning and everywhere they go! She will get so much loving undivided attention. Janette & Scott have affectionately renamed Lady to "Moxey". Way to go sweet Lady!
Kaya has a home with her new family in Arvada, CO. This will be Jutta and her daughters first Great Dane! Jutta is looking forward to taking Kaya for nice walks around her neighborhood and her daughters are as well. They've done loads of research on the breed and are ready to start training and obedience classes to start off on the right foot with Kaya. Way to go sweet girl!
Moose has a home with his new adoptive family in Overland Park, Kansas! Janet and her husband have a love for giant breeds; they currently have 2 newfies and a cat. They've fostered a Dane in the past but have never been able to call one their own till now. Janet is a stay at home mom with her fur-babies....so all these big guys will get so much love and attention. They are also very familiar with his medical needs and are 100% on board to be there every step of the way to help him live a very comfortable life. Way to go Moose!!!!
Lucy has a home with her new family in North Ogden, UT. Steve and Aimee have never owned a Great Dane but grew up around Giant Breed Dogs. They both have longed to have a Great Dane and knew in their heart it would happen when the time was right. After recently losing their beloved Rottweiler to cancer they knew that it was time to fill the void in their home and hearts with another dog....and, Miss Lucy was their one. Steve and Aimee are excited to include Lucy on all their outdoor activities. Way to go sweet girl!
Takoda has a home with her new adoptive family in Whites Creek, TN. Jordan and her husband Tad have been coping with the sudden loss of their 6 year old Dane earlier this year. Not too long after her passing Jordan started searching for another Dane. Takoda came into rescue and fortunately was not too far from where she lives….This is when Jordan and Tad opened their home and hearts to fostering this lovely lady. The moment Takoda came into their home they knew she was their perfect match. The family involves their Danes in everything they do outside of the home. We couldn’t be happier with the placement of this sweet girl. Way to go Takoda!
Kenya has a home with her adoptive family in North Salt Lake, UT! Annie and her husband Jacob. They both opened their home to foster this sweet girl and couldn't bare to see her go. Kenya is the families first Great Dane and they couldn't be happier with their new addition. Both of their schedules allow for Kenya to rarely be left alone. Not to mention 100% undivided attention as she won't have to share Annie and Jacob with anyone else. Way to go Kenya!!!!!
Roxy has a home her new adoptive family in Monument, CO. Charlie and his wife Maggie have owned Great Danes for over 50 years and have rescued from RMGDRI several times…. Roxy will have a fur friend to pal around with who is a little Pekingese mix. They have traveled all around Europe and Japan and always take their animals with them. We are so happy that Roxy has found her forever home with Charlie and Maggie. Way to go sweet girl!
Cocoa has a home with Uriah in Dolores, CO. His love for giant breeds has increased over the years…especially with having met some Great Danes at friends' houses. He is looking forward to the companionship and love that a Great Dane will bring him. Cocoa will be an only dog and have loads of undivided attention. We are so happy for you both! Way to go Cocoa!

Daisy has a home with her new family in Buena Vista, CO! John and his wife Cherry and their daughter currently have 2 other dogs at home. John and Cherry have had 2 rescue Danes over the years….The family enjoys spending time outdoors and going on vacation and taking their pets with them. Sweet Daisy will pretty much always have a human at home with her. Lucky Gal! The family has affectionately renamed her “Kaia”. Congratulations sweet lady.
Bones has a home with his Brian in Omaha, NE. Brian opened his home to Bones as a foster not knowing how amazing and grateful Bones was that he chose him. Brian is a very active person and simply loves having Bones with him wherever he goes. This sweet boy will have so much undivided and loving attention till his hearts content. Odin has a home with her new family in Parker, CO. Beth and Mike and their 2 sons currently have a 4 year old female Dane named Meara. They felt what better time than now to find a friend for both to live out their days! Beth and Mike love to go camping and hike the beautiful trails of Colorado. This sweet boy will have so much attention as he will rarely ever be left home alone. Way to go sweet Odin!
Izzy has a home with her new family in Aurora, CO! This will be Krystal's first Great Dane! She's had some large pets in the past, but never a Dane. Izzy will be able to live out the rest of her life being spoiled rotten...because she won't have anyone else to share all the ear rubs and back scratches with. She will be an only fur child in the home. Krystal is looking forward to walks along the greenbelt near her home and being able to include her in all her day to day activities. Way to go sweet Izzy!
Ava has a home with her new family in Lexington, NE. Jerry and Annie are no strangers to having Great Danes. They currently have a male Dane and not long ago their female Dane passed. The time has come that they are ready to fill the hole in the home of having another female Dane around. The family enjoys taking their Danes with them wherever they go and have affectionately renamed her "Mikka".
Layla has a home with Lisa and Hugh in Lawrence, KS. Sweet Layla is going to be a companion for their 9 year old Great Dane named Lady. Lisa and Hugh also have two adorable house cats named Booger and Evie…both are great with the big dogs. Layla will now get to pal around on neighborhood walks with Lisa & Hugh and Lady. They are all so excited for this lovely girl to be a part of their family. Congratulations sweet Layla!
Simba has a home with Pete & Pat in Monument, CO. This awesome family has had three Danes over the years, each "one at a time". Pat and Pete simply love the companionship that Great Danes have brought to their homes and hearts. They live on 5 fenced in acres, so their new boy Simba will be able to gallivant the property and have a blast doing so. Spooky is the family's 18 year old cat who is very used to having dogs around...so Simba will have a fur friend to hang around with. The love that this family will be able to give sounds endless! Angus has a home with Jay & Kira in Franktown, CO. Angus will be going to a home who currently have a Great Dane named Jaxon and 2 cats…Darwin and Lewis. Jay and Kira are no strangers to having Great Danes. They are usually always home so their fur kids will have lots of undivided attention. They like to include their dogs on walks in the neighborhood and hikes in the hills on the weekends. Way to go Angus!!!
Swift has a home with Kathleen, Phil and family in Fort Collins, CO. Kathleen & Phil currently have a 7 year old Dane and cockapoo and 2 cats along with 2 kids 11 & 7! The whole family is thrilled to have Miss Swift become a part of their brood. They've longed for another Dane as they know Grizzly is getting up there in age; So, they decided to start the process of rescuing with RMGDRI. Swift will now get to help out on the family's horse ranch and join Grizzly and Sierra in greeting all those that come to the ranch. Swift will be loved to the moon and back and always have a human around as Phil is retired military and Kathleen can work from home from time to time. Congratulations Swift!!!
Boomer has a home with his foster family in Golden, CO. Kurt and his brood of dogs have embraced Boomer into their pack. Boomer came to Kurt as a foster and has blended so well with his Dane Dutch and his senior boy Bear, that none of them want to see him go anywhere else. He gets to enjoy his days in the company of the other dogs in the home and then enjoy walks and hikes when Kurt is home. Boomer has been eager and working hard with Kurt on his social skills with dogs outside of his home along with people. We are confident this sweet boy will live out his glory days happily with his new family. Way to go Boomer!
Diesel has a home with his foster family in Littleton, CO. Dawn and her husband Dustan have long wanted a Great Dane. Many years back they had a Golden Chow Mix, and more recently have only had little dogs in their home. They both really missed having a large dog in their home so they decided to apply and rescue a Great Dane! Dawn works in a vets office and over the years has seen many Giant Breeds come into the office, between missing the big dog presence in her home and seeing them in her office, she knew it was time. Diesel came to her as a foster and she couldn't bare to see him leave. He made himself right at home with Dawn and Dustan and their other little fur kids TedE & Ms Chief. We couldn't be happier for the whole family! Way to go Diesel!
Raven has a home with her foster family in Elizabeth, CO. Janet and her husband Gary had to say goodbye to their Great Dane companion at the age of 10. They took roughly 3 years from having a Dane in their home and now the time has come that they knew it was time to fill the hole that only a Great Dane can fill. Janet and Gary go on daily walks and weekend hikes in the hills and can't wait to share that Raven. She came into their lives as a foster and the love she shared with the two of them pulled at their heartstrings and they knew she made them her humans. They have affectionately renamed her Riley. Way to go sweet girl.
Stefani with her foster family Emmett, ID. Lisa is no stranger to Great Danes. Along with fostering & rescuing from RMGDRI, Lisa has a home full of rescued fur babies that have already made Stefani part of the family. Her new friends include Chloe a Weiner dog whom she is best friends with and loves to steal her toys, and Hemi who Lisa fostered and adopted from RMGDRI to pal around with. She also has a cat friend who she's learning not to chase. Stefani is a quick learner, she now sits and watches the cat. For a deaf dane, Lisa is amazed at how incredibly vocal she is! She let's you know how a situation is making her feel! Lisa has lovingly renamed her Sofie! Way to go little lady!
Sarah has a home with her foster family Kristina and Tyler in Englewood, CO. This will be the families first Great Dane. Sarah came to them by way of fostering. Miss Sarah had a nervous start when she arrived at their home as she was unsure of the feel of carpet beneath her feet or the feel of grass. Well, glad to say...she got used to it rather quickly and can now show this family how fun a Great Dane can be. Kristina and Tyler go on daily walks and trail hikes on the weekends...this girl has a bright future! Her name has affectionately been changed to Rosie. Way to go sweet girl!
Chloe has a home with her foster family in Canon City, Colorado! Mel & Diane are no stranger to giant breeds, however this will be their first Great Dane. This sweet girl has had a rough go at learning how to appropriately be around other dogs while out and about; Fortunately when Mel and Diane raised their hand to foster her they were 100% committed to working with her to overcome those fears. They've come leaps and bounds with her and can't bare to have her sweet cuddly self go anywhere else. Chloe will be spoiled rotten as she will rarely ever be left alone and will have 100% undivided attention of her new family. Congratulations Chloe!
Luna has a home with Emily in Centennial, CO. Luna will be Emily's first Giant Breed Dog ever! She has a few friends and acquaintances who have Great Danes and she absolutely fell in love with their gentle nature and sweet dispositions. Emily will be able to spoil the heck out of this sweet girl as she will be the only one in the home and will have Emily's 100% undivided attention. Lucky girl! Emily is looking forward to sharing her couch, bed and over time working with Luna on bringing her to work with her. Congratulations Luna!!!!!
Ajax has a home with Kelly & Steve in Bayfield, CO! This will be the families first Great Dane! Kelly and Steve found out about RMGDRI at one of our Colorado Events this year. Recently they lost their Chocolate lab Roger. While this sweet boy was still alive, one of his best friends was a neighbors Great Dane....Steve and Kelly said to one another that if anything were to ever happen to Roger their next dog will be a Great Dane. Well, that time came and after they visited the RMGDRI event; they filled out an application with a desire for a male black Great Dane..... Ajax fit the bill!!!! We are thrilled for this family. Way to go Ajax!
Tank has a home with Dorene & Dmitri in Parker, CO. Tank will be the families first Great Dane and they are over the moon excited to bring him into their home. The family has a big circle of friends whom all get together with their pets and can't wait to include Tank. This sweet boy will have 2 other 4-legged siblings to live out his life with! A female Yorkie/Schnauzer & and a male Bichon. Dorene and Dmitri go on regular walks with their dogs! Yay Tank! Congratulations on your new home.
Whimsy has a home with Courtney in Livermore, CO. Courtney and her partner Zach have been patiently waiting for RMGDRI to help find that perfect match for their family. The time came when they saw Whimsy on our website and were able to proceed with the adoption of this lovely girl. Courtney and Zach are not strangers to the breed. Whimsy will be welcomed home by 2 female Danes (Sully & Cricket). Hikes around the hills is something that is a daily routine for this family....Way to go Whimsy!!!!!

Daisy May has a home with Kevin in Centennial, CO. Kevin is a long time supporter of RMGDRI, and has adopted his last Dane Stella from us. Sadly she lost her battle to cancer recently and Kevin knew that Stella would want another Dane by Kevin's side. Well, he has now filled the hole in his home and heart with sweet Daisy May! The two met and immediately had a connection. This sweet girl will never go without and will be spoiled rotten! She will share the home with a sweet 23 year old cat. Way to Go Daisy May!
Tank has a home with his foster family in Denver, CO. PJ & Jay opened their hearts and home to foster this sweet boy. Tank will get to share his days with his new house buddy Captain...a sweet little min-pin. PJ works from home and just loves having Tank be her velcro sidekick through the day. This handsome boy really won over PJ & Jays hearts during his stay as a foster. Way to go Tank!!!!
George has a home with Francesca and her teenage daughter in Denver, CO. Francesca has always had an affinity for Giant Breed Dogs. Her last dog was a mastiff who sadly passed away. Since then, Francesca has had several fosters go through her home; a few Danes and a Mastiff. After much time giving back and leaving her door open to help other dogs find their forever home, she felt it was time to find her own match. The day that she got to meet George she simply fell in love with his sweet nature and disposition, not to mention her soft spot for seniors. Way to go George!
Myotis has a home with her new family in Denver, CO! Myotis will be Keegan's first Great Dane and he is over he moon excited to bring this sweet and beautiful girl into his home. Keegan is an outdoorsy guy and wants to take Myotis with him on walks, runs and hikes into the hills. Myotis will be an only dog who is going to be spoiled rotten with love! Keegan works for a dog-friendly company...so this gal will be able to go to work with him. LUCKY DANE! Keegan has affectionately renamed her to Luna! Way to go sweet girl.
Ryder has a home with her foster family in Lincoln, NE. Joan is no stranger to adopting from RMGDRI! This will be the families 3rd dane from the rescue. Recently they lost their sweet Zena to bloat. Joan and her family love to go on daily walks, camping, and working in the yard gardening in the summer. Ryder came to Joan as a foster and it didn’t take long at all before she knew he wasn’t going anywhere. He has fit in perfectly with Joan’s family and her two English Bulldogs. Congratulations Ryder! She-Ra has a home with Sheila & Dennis & Ronny in Murray, UT. This family has loads of experience with Great Danes! Right now they don’t have any as they have since passed….However, when the opportunity arose to foster Miss She-Ra they were “doors wide open” for this sweet girl. Once this lovely lady walked into their home, she wasn’t going anywhere else. They have affectionately renamed her She-Rocks.
Romeo has a home with his foster family in Butte, MT. Jessie has grown up with with Giant Breed dogs and now her and her fiancé wanted to make the next step in rescuing a Great Dane. Romeo immediately fit in perfectly into their home and can't imagine him anywhere else. This amazing family has been through a lot with Romeo and his TPLO surgery on his one leg and are 100% committed to his life and health!.... Congratulations Romeo!
Francine has a home with her foster family in Alliance, NE. Wayne & Tracy have been waiting to fill their home with another Great Dane for some time now. When they decided to foster Francine they soon realized that this sweet girl was special and that she needed some extra attention and help with some of her separation behaviors....All of which they are dedicated to help her with. Fortunately for all involved, Francine is able to be with Wayne & Tracy 95% of the day! This lucky girl gets to go to work and always be with her humans. Loki has a home with his foster family in Littleton, CO. Jamie currently has a female Dane named Ava along with a cat named Kona. The family has always loved the personality, intelligence and emotional attributes of Great Danes. The time came where they wanted to bring another Dane into their home for themselves and Ava. When Loki came into their home as a foster they soon realized he wasn't going anywhere else. This sweet boy stole everyone's hearts and fit in perfectly. Way to go sweet boy!
Sampson has a home with Pat & Betsy in Albuquerque, NM. They are no strangers to the breed, in fact they've had 3 danes over the last 30 years! Their last Dane named Lucie whom they adopted from RMGDRI 7 years ago, sadly passed away last year. Well, they are ready to fill that hole in their hearts and in their home with another Dane! Lucky, Samson fit the bill! They were able to meet sweet Samson and fell in love at first sight. They love to take their Dane on hikes and tooling around town...Way to go Samson, you will be loved to the moon and back.

Slim Jim has a home with Irene & Jaime in Hayesville, KS. This family fell in love with Slim Jim when they assisted on his transport to bring him to his foster family in Colorado. The lucky boy even got to have an overnight stay with them and their current Dane and Pyrenees. They knew that it was meant to be and they wanted to do all they needed to do to try and bring this sweet boy back home. As a previous adopter from RMGDRI Irene & Jaime are no stranger to the breed. They sadly lost their sweet Zilly to bone cancer and without that second Dane in their home...they knew Slim would fill that space. Irene & Jaime lovingly renamed him Sebastian! Way to go boy.
Siere has a home with his Foster mom and dad Sandy & Bill in Denver, CO. This sweet old boy has had a bit of a rough go trying to find his perfect forever home to spend his later years with. Both Sandy and Bill have never had a Great Dane before and when Siere stepped foot into their house he made himself at home as though he just went away for a while. We are thrilled for Siere and his new family. Sandy & Bill have affectionately renamed him Sy. Way to go sweet ol' Sy!.
Bella has a home with her Foster Dad in Bozeman, MT. Jonathon is a personal trainer and enjoys being outside doing anything physical, so.... Miss Bella will be able to give him good company when hiking those Montana trails! Jonathon always dreamed of having a Great Dane of his own after growing up with them as a child. Bella will be an only pet, so needless to say she will be spoiled rotten! Jonathon has affectionately renamed this sweet girl to Luna! Way to go girl!
Lilli has a home with her foster family Audra in Colstrip, MT. Audra and her family are new to the breed and excited to have a Dane in their home. Audra is a stay at home mom and ever since her lab passed; they have felt an absence in their home that only a dog can fill. They have always admired Great Danes and felt what better way than to rescue one. Lilli has blended so well with Audra and her family that they can't imagine a life without her in it. Sheila has a home with Janette in Aurora, CO. Janette adopted from us previously and her male dane passed suddenly from heart failure. It's taken some time to fill that hole in her heart and house...But, now she's ready to have a sweet Dane companion once again! Sheila will now be able to spend her days spoiled by Janette! This sweet girl will be given load of attention as she won't have to share Janette with anyone. Way to go Sheila!
Dozer has a home with his foster family in Pryor, OK. Dozer has been in rescue for quite some time now, not to mention coming back into rescue previously. Glen and his family have really worked hard with some of the Behavior traits that Dozer has needed help with, and have chosen to make him a permanent part of their family. Everyone is confident he will get all the help and attention he needs with his new family! Way to go Dozer!
Zeus has a home with Shae in Bozeman, MT. Shae has always wanted a dane and has been waiting patiently for some time to wait for her perfect match. Zeus is going to have a 1 year old Chocolate Lab to play and romp around with and Shea and her boyfriend do a lot of hiking in Montana and can’t wait to have Zeus join them. Yay ZEUS!
Annabelle has a forever home with her Foster Dad in Denver, CO. Martin grew up around Great Danes with his Grandfather and as years passed Martin is finally at a point that he wanted to have a Great Dane of his own. Martin and Annabelle hit it off famously from the first time he visited her in the boarding facility she was staying at. Not sure who's heart was won first, but they both are very happy with the place they share in each others lives. Martin is dedicated to this young gal. Martin as affectionately renamed her April. Way to go April!!
Lola has a home with her foster family in Colorado Springs, CO!!! Jason and Kristen have adopted from us before and have a lot of Great Dane Experience. After the passing of their Dane it took some time before they could fill that gap in their home. Lola will be an only dog in their family...So she will get loads of attention! Way to go Miss Lola!
Liberty has a home with her foster family in Westminister, CO.Tiffany & Robb adopted from RMGDRI several years ago. After their beloved Dane passed at the age of 11 they finally were ready to fill the hole in their heart that only a Dane can fix. Liberty was their foster and she blended perfectly with their family. Way to go sweet girl!
Lucky has his forever home with his foster family in Cambridge, IA Colleen and her family have a vested interest in continuing the training support that this sweet boy needs. They raised their hands to foster Lucky....and after financially and emotionally contributing to his well being , they couldn't imagine him anywhere else. Way to go Lucky!
