Arlo has a home with Erin & Brian in Golden, CO. Erin and Brian have adopted with RMGDRI before and sadly lost their Dane to Cancer. They are ready to fill the hole in their hearts that their Dane left behind and Arlo was the match! They have one son, and all are thrilled to bring Arlo home. Way to go boy!
Sweet & precious Lucy has meandered her way right into the hearts of Rachel and Bill's hearts. Lucy will share her new forever home with 1 cat and 3 teenage sons...Best part of the deal is, Lucy will rarely ever be alone! her new parents work from home, so she will always have her humans by her side. Congratulations Lucy!
Willy has a home with his foster family in Louisville, CO Nicole and her husband have a vested interest in continuing the love and behavioral support that this sweet boy needs. They raised their hands to foster him and when he arrived into their home, they couldn't imagine him anywhere else. Goodspeed Willy!
Junior has a home with Leslie in Ivins, UT. Leslie is used to Giant Breeds as she grew up with them all her life. Leslie has always dreamed of one day rescuing a Great Dane and when Junior came along, she knew that he would be the perfect fit for her home. Junior will have two dogs to share the home with, a French Mastiff named Ella, and a pit/lab named Baxter. This sweet boy will enjoy the his daily routine of always having Leslie around, going for walks and to doggy socialization classes. Way to go Junior!!!!!
Zeus has a home with Koti and his wife Charlotte. Koti and Charlotte are veterans to fostering and adopting from RMGDRI. The day that Koti met Zeus at a meet n greet event, he knew that he was meant to live the rest of his life with his family, and, once Charlotte was able to meet him, that sealed the deal. Zeus will have a full house of companionship to snuggle and play with, a Great Dane named Indy, a maltese named Oliver and 3 cats, Mouse, Puck and Freya! Way to go Zeus!!!
Sweet and Sensational Star has steered her way right into the hearts of Misty and Cory’s hearts. Star will be the center of attention in her new home…filled with lots of hikes, walks, camping and family adventures. She is going to be spoiled rotten as she will be an only fur kid in the home. Congratulations STAR!
Bison has a home with his foster family in Pueblo, CO. Cory has a lot of Great Dane experience and has been looking for another Dane to add to his household. So, when he raised his hand to foster this sweet boy and Bison came into their home…. he blended in perfectly with them and their other Dane Akira. Way to go Sweet Bison!
Cute and kind Kenya has stayed home with her foster mom Shauna in Wheat Ridge, CO. Shauna and her partner are not new to Giant Breeds and they have always wanted to add a Great Dane to their list and Kenya fit the bill. Kenya get's to spend her days spoiled rotten by Shauna and her partner along with her new 8 year old Yorkie fur brother! Way to go Kenya!
This boisterious boy will be bouncing his way into his new home with Vicki! Zuek has been working on his gentlemanly skills and is ready to take it to the next level with his new mom Vicki. She has been waiting to fill the hole in her life of having a Great Dane back by her side and Zuek came at the right time. Congratulations Zuek and Vicki!
Miss Harlow has come a long way since coming into rescue and is now with Susan and her family. This sweet girl overcame some hurdles with being hit by a car and making it into our care so we could get her the surgery care she needed for her back hip. She has come leaps and bounds with her physical therapy. Susan and her family are signed up to continue the care that Harlow will require the rest of her life. Harlow is one lucky girl, as is Susan and her family.Adopted 10/5/15
Montana has a home with the Lindsay and her Family. Miss Montana will always have someone by her side for many many days to come. Lindsay is a disabled Vet who stays at home with her service chihuahua all day. Lindsay has 2 teenage children who were also very anxious to have a Dane back in their lives and in their home again. Montana blended quickly upon meeting her new forever home and she sure deserves it after her long foster stay with RMGDRI.
Tulip has a home with her foster mom in Arvada, CO!!! Donna brought Tulip into her home with the intention of adopting this sweet senior gal once Tulip recovered to her fullest potential from her injuries. Tulip was found by good Samaritan with severe lacerations to her front leg and found her way into RMGDRI. It is unknown how she sustained such injuries but Donna has helped Tulip recover a lot of lost range of motion. Miss Tulip has enjoyed trips to the office while Donna works and is enjoying her Dane retirement in a spectacular loving home!!
Indy has a home with Jason & Abigail in Colorado Springs, CO!! Jason & Abigail are new to the Great Dane breed and fell in love with the Dane’s gentle-giant demeanor. They are an active couple that enjoy being outdoors. They turned to RMGDRI in hopes of finding a Dane they could add to their family. They were smitten with foster Indy and when they met her in-person it was love at first sight! They couldn’t imagine not making Indy a permanent member of their family.
Daisy has a home with Christian and Jennifer in Lawrence, KS!! This family wanted to bring a gentle giant into their home and they found their match with Daisy! The family currently has 3 older boys (ages 9 and above) that are excited to bring this sweet girl home. The family enjoys taking long walks, hiking, and bike riding and are hoping that Daisy will enjoy doing those things as well. Way to go, Daisy!!
Gigi has a home with her foster family in Arvada, CO!!! Rodney & Andrea have been looking for a Great Dane to add to their family. Gigi seemed like the perfect fit and the family was approached about fostering her. She immediately fit perfectly in the family and they have affectionately renamed her Riley. Way to go, Miss Riley!

Itsy Bitsy has a home wItsyBitsy_successith Adam & Jill in Boulder, CO!! Adam & Jill met Miss Bits at an event and fell head over heels in love with her! So much, that they returned to visit her at the event the following weekend. Itsy was excited to see them again! Adam & Jill are so excited to bring Itsy home as a permanent member of their family!! Way to go, Itsy Bitsy.
Mary has a home with her foster family in Parker, CO!!! Amy & Larry were initially looking to adopt a gentle giant to add to their family. While they reviewed extended profiles on Danes available, they decided to also foster a Dane as well. What they didn’t expect, was to fall in love with Miss Mary as soon as she walked through the door. Mary will be the family’s only Dane, so she’ll receive loads of attention!! Way to go, Mary!!
Dozer has a home with Amy and her family in Layton, UT!! The family has never owned a Great Dane before but have past experience with English Mastiffs and a Newfoundland. They have done research on the Great Dane breed and are excited to bring one into their home. They have spoken to Dozer’s foster family and both agree that Dozer was meant to be a part of their family. Dozer will have two human children to keep him busy and also have a Bulldog sister as a companion. Way to go, Dozer!!
Kahlan has a home with Karen in Libby, MT!!! Karen currently owns two terriers. She has previously owned other giant breeds but Kahlan will be her first ever Great Dane. She lives in a small mountain town that has lots of space to go for walks and hikes. She is aware of Kahlan’s eye condition and is prepared to care for this sweet girl and give her the forever home she deserves!! Way to go, Kahlan!
Hillary has a home with John & Shannon in Lincoln, NE!! John & Shannon have 3 children (ages 17, 11, & 9) whom are all thrilled to bring Miss Hilary (soon-to-be renamed Lexie) home. Hilary will be the family’s first Great Dane. They currently have no other pets and are looking forward to showering Hilary with their undivided attention. They met Hilary at the NE event held this past weekend and it was love at first sight! They can’t wait to bring her home. Way to go, Hilary!
Roxii has a home with Ed & Sandy in Brighton, CO. Roxii will be the family’s first Great Dane. They live in a one-floor ranch style home. They family is aware of Roxii’s spinal condition and are prepared to continue her care. They currently own an older lab mix and have grandchildren that visit often. They are excited to bring this sweet girl into their home and can’t wait for her to become a part of their family. Yay for Roxii!!!!
Harley has a home with Stephen & Deborah and their family in Aurora, CO. Harley will be this family’s first Great Dane. They currently have no other pets so Harley will receive lots of attention. The family has 2 children whom are excited that Harley will be joining their family. They met Harley and his foster mom the past weekend and fell in love! They knew he was meant to be a part of their family. Way to go, Harley!
Ludlow has a home with his foster home in Tetonia, ID!!! Lee brought in this big, handsome guy as a foster. But he knew shortly after his arrival, that Ludlow was there to stay. Lee has no other pets, so Ludlow will receive loads of attention. The family also has 3 children to keep Ludlow busy. Way to go, Ludlow!!
Bonnie has a home with Bob & Peg and their family in Westcliffe, CO!! The lost their gentle giant last year and felt it was the right to bring another big dog into their home. After speaking with Bonnie’s foster mom, they knew that Miss Bonnie was meant to be a part of their family. Bob & Peg work opposite shifts so someone is almost always home. Bonnie will join the company of 3 other dogs and the family has a 14 yr old human daughter whom is also excited to meet this sweet girl! Yay for Bonnie!
Izzy has a home with Daniel and his family in Fort Collins, CO!!! Izzy will be the family’s first dane. They previously had a St. Bernard mix that opened their hearts to the giant breeds. They currently own a 12 yr young Boxador! And also have a 5 yr old son who is uber excited about bringing sweet Izzy home. The family met Izzy over the weekend and it was love at first sight!! They knew they were meant to provide this energetic girl a forever home. Way to go, Izzy!!!

Dante has a home with Price & Justine in Denver, CO!!! This family fostered for RMGDRI and adopted one of their fosters. Sadly he passed away a couple years ago but there are ready to add another gentle giant to their home! Justine and her family are aware of Dante’s GI-sensitivity and after consulting with their vet, feel confident to continue his care. They have no other pets and are excited to lavish Dante with all of their attention. The family also has a 4 yr old who’s excited to bring home this sweet boy! Woot, Woot! Dante!
Chevelle has a home with Michelle and her family in Midland, MI!!! Michelle lives by herself with 2 Dobermans and 1 Dobie/Dane mix. She has been interested in Chevelle since she was first posted on our website. Chevelle looks almost identical to her current DoberDane. If it weren’t for the age difference, they could pose as twins! How crazy is that?! Michelle lives on 4 acres of wooded property. She enjoys taking all of her dobie’s for daily walks. She has lots of room for them to run and play. Way to go, Chevelle!
Oz has a home with his foster family in Boise, ID!! Sean & Robin started fostering with RMGDRI but didn’t expect to fall in love with their first foster. Oz walked into their home as if he had lived there for years. He fit so well in their home that they decided to make it permanent. They are an active couple who walks or jogs throughout the week. They enjoy camping and taking frequent trips to Oregon, & Montana and are excited to bring Oz with them! Way to go, Oz!!

Dante has a home with Mathew & Terrie in Palisade, CO!!! Their previous Great Dane passed away unexpectedly and the couple felt it was time to add another gentle giant to their home. After speaking with Dante’s foster family, Mathew & Terrie knew that Dante was meant to become a member of their family. They have 4 acres for Dante to run on, and currently own two llamas. Way to go, Dante!! Thank you Ellen Turner for fostering!
Kinnick has a home with Brendan & Danielle in Colorado Springs, CO. This family has no other pets and no children. They came to RMGDRI with hopes of finding the perfect rescue Dane to add to their family. They found it!! With Kinnick!! After speaking with her foster home, both Brendan & Danielle are prepared to continue Kinnick’s care. They look forward to giving Kinnick all their undivided attention. Way to go, Kinnick!!
Sky has a home with Nate, Tracy, & their four children in Thornton, CO. This family has been looking for a gentle giant to add to their home since before Christmas and they finally found their perfect match in Sky. They met with her foster home this past weekend and knew she was the dane for them. They currently have no other pets and are looking forward to giving Sky all of their attention. They enjoy going hiking as a family and hope Sky will enjoy participating in the outdoors. Way to go, Sky!
Lyric has a home with her foster in Rifle, CO!! Sherry initially came to RMGDRI to foster. What she didn't expect was to fall in love so quickly! She brought Lyric into her home as a foster but she fit so well into the daily routine that Sherry couldn't imagine letting her go. Lyric has a fellow 8 yr old Great Dane to look up to and a few chickens she can recruit as partners in crime. Woot! Woot! Lyric.
Rocky has a home with Matt & Mary and their family in Lincoln, NE!! Matt & Mary met this handsome guy at one of the NE Dane events and fell in love!! They currently have a female boxer that also met Rocky and they were instant friends. Rocky is still being treated for his heartworm disease, and the family understands what is needed to continue his care. The family has two children that are also excited to make Rocky a part of their family.
Clyde has a home with Allyne and her family in Sandy, UT!!! Clyde will be the family’s first Great Dane. There are four adults living in the home, each with a different schedule so Clyde will rarely be left at home alone. He will be the family’s only pet and is already soaking up all the attention and love. The family met Clyde this weekend and fell in love. He was meant to be a part of their family. Yay for Clyde!
Chaz has a home with Brian & Julie in Gunnison, CO!! They have previously adopted from RMGDRI and felt it was time to add another gentle giant to their household. There are no human children in the home but both Brian & Julie treat their pets as if they were children and take them everywhere! Chaz will have two other 4-legged furries to keep him company. Way to go, Chaz!
Chevelle has a home with Travis and his family in Morrison, CO!!! This family was looking for an active dane that could join them on all their outdoor adventures. They spotted Chevelle and couldn’t resist learning more. Chevelle and her foster family stopped in to meet everybody this weekend and it was love at first sight!! The family has two other dogs, a kitten, and 3 horses to keep Chevelle busy. The family also has a 7 year old daughter who is excited to share her time with this sweet girl! Way to go, Chevelle!!
Wally has a home with Greg & Lisa in Winfield, KS!!!! Greg & Lisa lost their previous Great Dane and were ready to welcome another gentle giant into their home. They currently have no other pets and are looking forward to giving Wally lots of love and affection. Wally will have two human children that will keep him busy. Way to go, Wally!
Cash has a home with Nathan in Denver, CO!!! Nathan lives my himself and was looking for a gentle giant to spend his days with. Nathan is new to the Great Dane breed and agreed to foster Cash, so he could get an idea for what it was like to own one of these ‘great’ dogs. What he didn’t expect was just how ‘great’ they truly are! Cash fit right into Nathan’s daily routine that he didn’t give adoption a second thought! Cash instantly became Nathan’s sidekick! Way to go, Cash!
Siere has a home with his foster family in Colorado Springs, CO!!!! Patrick and Kelsey have volunteered with RMGDRI over the last year and wanted to become more involved as foster parents. They brought sweet Siere into their home as a foster but he fit within their pack like he’d been there for years!! The family only has 4-legged children; a Great Dane, a Yorkie, and a pug, and Siere fit in just perfectly.
Hank has a home with Rob and his family in Colorado Springs, CO!! They love Great Danes! And have had three over the last 13 years. They currently have no other pets and were going through Gentle-Giant-Withdrawal, until they met Hank. They spoke with his foster mom over the phone, and made arrangements to meet him in person. It was love at first sight! They just had to bring the big guy home! Yay for Hank and his forever family!

Duke has a home with Toni and her family in Colorado Springs, CO!!! This family came to RMGDRI in hopes of finding a dog to add to their family. Not only did they find a dog, they fell head over heels with the perfect Gentle Giant. Duke has been with RMGDRI since May 2014 and has extreme separation anxiety when the people he loves are not around. After meeting Duke at a RMGDRI wine-tasting event, the family knew it was meant to be. Duke was moved into their home as a foster Dane, to allow him to adjust to his new family and also allow the family to adjust to Duke’s needs. This family’s schedule allows someone to be in the home almost all the time and if no one is home, Duke goes with them. Whooo Hooo for Duke!!
Kweli has a home with Greg and his Great Dane Patrick in Sandy, UT!!! Greg wanted to find another Gentle Giant to add to his family and also wanted his current great dane to have company while Greg was at work. He spoke with Kweli's foster home and arranged a meet-and-greet, and it was love at first sight! Patrick can be shy and is not often interested in playing. But after meeting Kweli, the two played non-stop, and they were meant to be brothers! Way to go, Kweli!!
Monroe has a home with Charlie & Maggie is Monument, CO!!! Charlie and Maggie have owned many Danes over the years. They have also previously adopted from RMGDRI. During the summer they reached out to RMGDRI, expressing their interest in adopting another Great Dane. They learned about many Great Danes since the summer but none tugged at their heartstrings like Miss Monroe. This couple makes Monument, CO their home but spend the winter months in Surprise, AZ. Monroe will enjoy her golden years with this sweet couple. She will also enjoy the companionship from the couples cat and smaller breed dog.
